Just an awesome work of art! Solid sterling silver Taxco necklace. It’s signed but I can’t make out the letters. Maybe TD something. Also 925 Mexico. It’s 18” in length. Push box clasp. Heavy piece weighs 71.77 of solid sterling silver. I test everything, I never believe the stamps, and this one is no different..tested in several places to confirm sterling silver.
Taxco jewelry is centered on William Spratling, an American architect who settled in Taxco, Mexico, in 1929 and sparked a revival of silver craftsmanship.
