Takaho Inagaki (1900-1977) was an author who elevated themes such as machinery, stars, and boy love into a unique form of fantasy literature, known for works like "A Thousand and One Second Stories" and "The Aesthetics of Boy Love."

This book is a rare publication of his, presented in a picture book format where Inagaki's past writings are juxtaposed with illustrations by Mitsuo Fujisawa and Masakazu Matsunaga. It features a composition where text and illustrations closely correspond, while also reorganizing Inagaki's consistent themes of fascination with machinery, boy love, and fantastical eroticism through the paradoxical perspective of "reverse flow." This particular edition is a limited special edition of 300 copies, with aluminum binding and Inagaki's signature.

Comes with a slipcase. Minor scratches and soiling on the aluminum, and some dampness in the text.
