Vintage Japanese Fishing Glass Floats Set of 5
Size approx 3.5” - 4”
Hand blown glass fishing floats can be traced back to the 1840's. They were tied to the fisherman's nets to keep them afloat. Glass was an economical method of supporting the nets and offered plenty of buoyancy. Hand blown reproductions of traditional fishing floats. Blue to Blue Green Color with fish netting, size is approx. 3.5” - 4" Diameter. Set of 5. Two of them comes wrapped in fish net and can be hanged.
