Beautiful Lalique France Venus Nude Frosted Crystal Figurine 4" Tall Small Sculpture (READ !) Unfortunately it's chipped near bottom --as a result, her right hand and foot are almost gone. Please view photos with green highlights to see the damage. Despite the damage, the statue still displays nicely when her left side faces front.Elsewhere similar good figures are sold for $450 or so.Info: Women and mythology were always favorite themes of Rene Lalique’s designs. A great artist of the Art Deco period he was often referred to as the “Rodin of Transparencies”.
