Esbilac Milk Replacer is a highly-digestible source of nutrients that matches the composition of mother’s milk. Meets the complete nutritional needs of orphaned and rejected puppies and is an ideal supplement for pregnant and lactating dogs. Contains three highly digestible sources of protein. It is a very stable product, much like baby cereal. Milk Replacer for Puppies is also available in liquid form (item #BO321).

Mixing directions: one part powder to two parts water. Once mixed, it will last in the refrigerator for one month. It can be frozen (ice cube trays are recommended) for up to three months. For orphaned puppies, feed 2 tbsp of warm mixed liquid per 4 oz of body weight. Divide the daily rate into 4 to 6 equal feedings. As a food supplement, Esbilac should be mixed into the daily ration at the rate of 1 tablespoon per 5 lbs of body weight. For pregnant or lactating mother dogs, it should be mixed into daily rations 2 tsp per 5 lbs, until two weeks after whelping.

Unopened product has a shelf life of two years from date of manufacture. Once package is opened, store in airtight container to prevent contamination. There is no need to refrigerate or freeze dry product, unless doing so is desired to keep it fresher. Once mixed with liquid, it should be used within 2-3 hours, and any remainder should be disposed of.
