Absolutely beautiful sterling silver gilt gold toned ring. Stones are 1/2 ct tw (half carat total weight) diamonds. The design is truly gorgeous and surely will make a statement. The ring is sterling and tested positive as such, sterling is 92.5% pure silver mixed with a 7.5% alloy. What creates the gold tone is copper mixed into the alloy. If a ring is silver in tone and sterling silver, there is likely very little or no copper mixed into the alloy. This is also how rose gold tone is made! So cool!
