By eliminating the direct mount link, this design also saves 4–10 grams while offering 8–12× the stiffness of a conventional hanger. And when adjustment is needed, the hanger can be fine-tuned by hand.
Engineered with protection in mind, the hanger incorporates a sacrificial fracture notch. This feature ensures the hanger bends or breaks before damage reaches your carbon frame, meaning in the event of a hard impact, you’ll be replacing a hanger—not a frame.
